Brenda Song, Debby Ryan, Emily Osment Stand Up Against Cyber Bullies ‎

Cambio and teen celebrities are taking a stand against cyber bullies. Bullying has become a serious problem for many young people, especially in the last few years as 1 in 3 teenagers will experience the effects of abuse in one form or another. This may include verbal abuse, physical abuse, and even cyber abuse. It is time to take a stand and thanks to DoSomething.org and Cambio, popular teen celebrities including Nick Jonas, Brenda Song, Debby Ryan, and Emily Osment are speaking up about a current issue with bullying: cyber bullying.

The inspiring video below features numerous teen celebrities sharing their words of wisdom and advice for kids who have experienced the problem of bullying. Here is just a sampling of what they had to say:

“Cyber bullying, I think, is the most cowardly thing anybody could do”- Brenda Song
“Something happens on the internet, I think, is a lot more kind of brutal and harsh than things are and what people actually say in real life”- Nick Jonas

“A lot of these kids who are going through cyber bullying don’t really share it, they just kind of keep it inside”- Savannah Outen

Its a good thing when big names join forces to bring awareness to problems that affect many people. I know that bullying has been a problem for a long time but cyber bullying takes it even further because its like a form of stalking. You can’t solve the solution without recognizing it first and this is the first step.
