Emily Osment ‘Cyberbully’ to Air in July

Emily Osment has filmed a movie for ABC Family called Cyberbully. The film, which will air on July 17th, the film takes on the hot topic of bullying among young people on the internet.

Also starring Kay Panabaker and Meaghan Rath, it’s being directed by Quebec filmmaker Charles Binamé.

Plot Synopsis: Taylor Hillridge (Osment), is a pretty seventeen-year-old high school student but a little awkward, and painfully aware of it.

When her mom gives her a computer for her birthday, Taylor is excited by the prospect of freedom and independence of going online without her mother always looking over her shoulder.
However, Taylor soon finds herself the victim of betrayal & bullying while visiting a social website, and afraid to face her peers at school, including her best friend (Panabaker), she is pushed to an extreme breaking point. It is only after this life-changing event that Taylor learns that she is not alone,

Meeting other teens, including a classmate, who have had similar experiences. Taylor’s mom, Kris (Rowan), reels from the incident and takes on school system and state legislation to help prevent others from going through same harrowing ordeal as her daughter.
