"Left Behind" Celebration (Moonwalk, behind Jackson Square; 504.282.5459) In anticipation of the Rapture, which Harold Camping has predicted will take place today, the Secular Humanist Association hosts a balloon release, with costumed participants sending messages up to "raptured" family, friends and neighbors, followed by a party at Napoleon's Itch, 734 Bourbon St., with raffles, contests and cash bar, 7 p.m. All "Left Behinds" are welcome to come. Admission: Free. Alternate end-of-world celebration: stand outside and blow a horn at 6 p.m. Alison Fensterstock explains why.
