Emily Osment Performs On ABC’s “The View”

Emily Osment appeared on ABC’s hit talk show “The View” on December 23, 2010 where she performed her new single “Lovesick” for the audience. “Lovesick” is off of Emily’s debut album “Fight or Flight.”

Before Emily and her band performed their new song she sat down with two of the shows hosts to talk about her music and her time acting on the Disney Channel Original Series “Hannah Montana,” which is currently airing its fourth and final season on the Disney Channel.

After you check out Emily’s performance below be sure to let us know what you think of her new song!

Emily Osment – the next Miley?

Emily Osment, best known as Lilly Truscott in the Hannah Montana TV series, has unveiled a preview of her new single Lovesick.

This isn’t the first time the 18 year old has dabbled in pop music.

She released a song called Let’s Be Friends in Europe and unleashed her second album in America earlier this year, but neither proved to be a success – in fact, the latter peaked at a rather bleak 170 in the charts!

The budding diva is hoping her new robot-inspired video will help her grab a piece of Miley’s tween pop pie.

From the preview, Emily’s new song sounds catchy enough and the visuals look interesting – particularly her crazy Tron meets Daft Punk dress.

Do you think she has what it takes to make it in the music world or should she just stick to acting?

Emily Osment: My Music Isn't Just For Kids

Emily Osment takes the stage with her band as she performs “Lovesick” on ABC’s The View on Thursday morning (December 23).

The 19-year-old musician shared on the program, “There’s definitely a range in the audience [at concerts]. You have the young, the old, the older brother who really doesn’t want to be there but is there for his little sister. You have the parents and the uncle. There’s a lot of different people, which I love.

Emily added, “The music isn’t just for kids, it really is for everybody.”

Emily Osment “Lovesick” Live

Emily Osment performed her new single “Lovesick” live on ABC’s “The View” on December 23rd. The song is off of Emily’s debut album titled “Fight or Flight” and is very upbeat with memorable lyrics.

Below you can watch Emily’s performance as well as hear her talk about her hectic schedule this year – from filming the Disney Channel Original Series “Hannah Montana,” to making music for her CD.

Emily Osment Attends The Jingle Ball In New York City

Last week Emily Osment attended Z100′s Jingle Ball in New York City. The concert was presented by H&M and was held at Madison Square Garden.

We’re loving Emily’s dress! What about you?

Below you can listen to Emily answer some questions back stage at the concert before going on to perform. Were you lucky enough to see Emily perform live at the Jingle Ball?

TV Guide Interviews Emily Osment about Hannah Montana

TV Guide finally got the chance to speak with Emily Osment about the end of Hannah Montana. In fact, Emily shares that she is happy to move on from the show. You can hear her whole stance at the bottom of this post.

I am not surprised that she is happy to leave the show. After all, you could sort of tell by the way she talked about the topic in the interviews before. Plus she can now focus on her music career more.

What do you think of Emily’s new interview with TV Guide? I think that she was being honest and I am glad that she is happy about it. I know that Miley was happy about the show ending as well, so I guess it is only fair that others feel the same
I wonder if she will ever be on a TV series again? I guess only time will tell, but I have a feeling that will stick with the music side of the business for a while.

Emily Osment Performs On 'The View'

Emily Osment performed her new single "LoveSick" on ABC's daytime hit show 'The View' earlier this week. The 18-year-old has chosen this Toby Gad-co written tune as the follow-up to "Let's Be Friends" - the lead single of her debut album "Fight or Flight" (September 2010).

I haven't posted much about Emily on DL but nevertheless, if you didn't know, her debut LP is one of my poppy guilty pleasures. I just love it :). So sad though it ultra-mega-super flopped in the US. However, the contrary occoured overseas. "Fight or Flight" and "Let's Be Friends" did OK/decently in some European countries and Japan. I personally would give the US one last chance and if her next single flops I would change markets. Emily come to Europe!
"LoveSick" is one of my fave tunes in "Fight or Flight" so I'm more than happy with the new single choice. Ms Osment has finally started promoting it in the states this week with a performance on 'The View'.

I love the song, I love Emily but that performance sucked. BOO! I don't know if it was her fault though. It appeared to me like she couldn't hear herself with the earpiece, therefore the off-key moments.

The Making Of Emily Osment’s “Lovesick”

In the video below you can see the work that went into making Emily Osment’s music video for her song “Lovesick.” Emily says that she had the idea for the music video in her head while they were recording the song, and we can’t wait to see Emily’s vision come to life!

“Go behind the scenes with Emily at the ‘Lovesick’ video shoot! Look for the official ‘Lovesick’ video premiere on Friday, January 14th, exclusively on MySpace.”

Emily Osment Wishes You Happy Holidays

Singer and actress Emily Osment has recorded a video for her fans. In this one, she wishes all of her fans a happy holiday to all of her fans. You can watch the clever way of her wishing it at the bottom of this post.

I have to say that I love the way she did it! It was a very clever and cute thing to do. I would have never thought up of it myself, so I am really thrilled to see a new and fun way to do it. Though, I do wonder if she was not able to speak during the day that filmed it?

What do you think of the video? Was it clever or cheesy of her?
I say clever and I wish I thought it up! That is how much I enjoyed it. I hope she does more fun little videos like this one. She even plugs in an ad for her album in the description box. It’s one of a kind and I cannot wait to see what else is up her sleeve next?

Emily Osment “Lovesick” Fan Version

Emily Osment has been working hard on the music video for her new single “Lovesick” off of her debut album “Fight or Flight,” but until her video is ready she put together a video using photos her fans sent in showing their support for her new song! Here’s what Emily posted along with the video below:

Emily Osment Talks About Life On Hannah Montana Forever

Budding popstar Emily Osment is still talking about the end of her hit show Hannah Montana Forever and recently talked about life on the set. They talk about the last day on set and also how she was ready to say goodbye to her old show. You can catch it all at the bottom of this post.

While Emily did say that she was sad at the final day, she also said that she was ready to leave it and I have to say that does leads to questions. I have noticed that she seems stressed during a lot of interviews and you can really see it when they talk about Hannah Montana.
Do you think Emily should stick with what she loves better at the moment or should she focus on what made her famous? I say she should keep pushing forward with her music. She loves it and she has a lot of talent at it. I hope we will hear much more of her music as times goes on.

Emily Osment plays at the Forum

I saw this a few days ago, but wanted to make sure I did not forget about it. Emily Osment playing kickball at the Forum. I can’t tell for sure, but it looks like it was just something for fun not even part of an event or anything like that which makes it even cooler. I know kickball has been making a comeback even with adults, as we have a few leagues in our area so I am sure this helps promote it further when stars get together to play.

But where is Emily’s stat line? We need a box score from this kickball game, heck we do not even know who won the game.
I am excited to see where Emily’s acting career is going now that Hannah Montana is done filming. I always thought she was talented and is that double threat with the singing career.
